PROCESS OF AYUSHMAT’S VAAGAI MARACHEKKU OIL?
Oil is extracted by the traditional method using the wooden cylindrical device called chekku (also known as Marachekku in Tamil).
The respective Oil seeds were loaded in the cylindrical device where the Bullocks are used to turn the wooden mill or the Marachekku and thus the oil is extracted from the respective seeds naturally.
VAAGAI MARAM is the nature of cylindrical wood that we use for our manufacturing from where the oil is extracted.
No heat is involved in this manufacturing process and the process involves no additives too. Cold pressed oils have all their nutrients intact, retaining the natural properties of the oil-seeds.
